You don't have to be perfect. This devotional on 2 Corinthians 12:9 shows how God's grace turns our weakness into His perfection — featuring "Perfectly" by Micah Tyler.

Have you ever met someone and immediately known they were a Godly person? We all know at least one. The moment you encounter them, you realize they possess something we all want. I don’t mean wealth or good looks. Some might not be physically pretty, but their spiritual light shines through so brightly that they are beautiful people. It’s a gleam in their eye, a pep in their step, and a quiet confidence that I am honestly jealous of.
I know this light is a gift from God. But it can be intimidating to the rest of us, can't it? We look at them and think, "Man, I want to be like that, but they must be perfect." Well, I doubt they are perfect. Rather, they are the ones who finally realized they don’t have to be.
In reality, Godly people only intimidate us because of our own perceptions. Truly Godly people know they are imperfect; but they also know that it is only through God that they can live such a joyful life. Jesus constantly used broken people throughout his time on earth—not to make them flawless, but to make them shine in spite of their flaws. He shows us where we fail, fills our gaps, and turns our weakness into His perfection. Through Him, we can take an imperfect world and turn it into a life of genuine joy. And honestly, living a life like that seems pretty perfect to me.
