Hey Ya'll Watch This — a short devotional about one bold act of faith: the fan who tossed a cross onto Bob Dylan's stage and changed music history. Featuring "Saved" by Bob Dylan.

It was 1978. An entertainer had just finished a massive world tour, exhausted, divorced, and searching for answers. He wasn't interested in the friends who kept telling him about Jesus. During a concert in San Diego, a fan threw a small silver cross necklace onto the stage. For some reason, he picked it up and slipped it into his pocket. Two days later, alone in a Tucson hotel room, sick, overwhelmed, he put the cross around his neck. What happened next changed his life forever. He was thrown to the ground and lifted back up. He later described it as a physical encounter with Jesus Christ. Almost overnight, he traded secular music for gospel music, losing many fans but finding a new purpose.
So Bob Dylan went from a counterculture icon to a gospel artist almost overnight. What caused it? Well, certainly the power of Jesus Christ was at work, but what opened the door? One bold act by a fan whose name we'll never know. I can almost picture the fan turning to his friends and saying, hey, y'all, watch this, as he tossed that cross onto the stage.
So be bold in your faith. Be bold in your actions. You never know how God might use a simple act of faith to change someone's life.
